The auto maker Renault may launch its car Fluence in India in mid of the year 2011. It is a compact mid-sized sedan. Fluence is based on the Renault/Nissan C platform. The car first went on sale in November 2009.


Renault is likely to manufacture Fluence at the new Renault Nissan facility based in Chennai. The car is likely to come with two petrol engines, each available in two versions. Fluence looks large with good cabin and boot space. Renault manufactures Fluence currently at Oyak-Renault plant in Bursa, Turkey and Santa Isabel factory in Cordoba, Argentina. The sedan may be priced at Rs. 12 lakh in the Indian car market.
